What to Look For in a Weighted Blanket
Size
It might seem obvious, but definitely consider where and how you'll be using your weighted blanket before investing in one. Twin-sized weighted blankets are actually the most versatile — they're big enough for one person to sleep under at night but can also easily double as a throw for snuggling up on the sofa. If you sleep with a partner and you're both seeking to add a cozy weighted layer to your bedding, a Queen or King size blanket makes sense.
Weight
Many of our top picks are available in multiple different weights. As a rule of thumb, most people can divide their body weight by 10 to choose the most comfortable blanket weight. For instance, if you weigh 150 pounds, a 15-pound weighted blanket will probably suit you well.
