Taryn is a writer, brand & content strategist, and editorial director who has over 15 years of experience covering lifestyle topics like home décor, DIYs, entertaining, cleaning, organizing, and parenting. She spent the majority of her editorial career on-staff at major magazines such as Woman’s Day, Good Housekeeping, Redbook, and Parents, and regularly shared her decorating tips, craft ideas, and product picks on The Today Show. Most recently, Taryn was the Editorial Copy Director for buybuy BABY, where she shaped the brand voice, content calendar, and creative marketing strategies.

Experience
Even before she got hooked on TLC’s Trading Spaces, Taryn spent much of her childhood redesigning her bedroom and making her own décor. But it wasn’t until her first magazine internship that she realized she could marry her love for creative writing and interior design as a home editor. She lives on Long Island with her husband, three kids, and two dogs in a house she’ll never stop redecorating.
